What do I do if my pedal tractor is missing parts?

The axle on my John Deere wheelbarrow is defective. How can I get it fixed?

A design change has been made to the wheelbarrow. The holes were eliminated on the axle and extension pieces were added. The black extension pieces slip on to the axle. The extensions contain holes that the top of the wheelbarrow slide in to. The wood handles may need to be pulled a little to get the bolts in. The black extensions are strong enough for the recommended weight of the wheelbarrow.

What do you mean by "surface wash only"?

When we recommend surface washing, it means to use a damp cloth to clean your item. Also, we recommend surface wash with toys that have a squeaker, rattle, or musical appliance internally.

Unfortunately, if these are washed in a washing machine, they will become water-logged. We do not recommend any other alternatives to washing your item beyond what is stated on the tags.

I can't find the Thomas & Friends track layout I'm looking for. What should I do?

All of our track layouts are interchangeable, so it's impossible to provide every combination of track design possible. Children and parents are encouraged to use their imagination to design creative layouts and play opportunities. Track expansion packs can be helpful when connecting various destinations and creating new layouts for your play system.

How come the track on my Figure 8 Set will not fit together properly?

There is probably an easy solution to your problem. Turn the track over (like a pancake). The tracks are double-sided and if they do not work in one direction they will work the other way. This should do the trick.

Should I glue the track together?

Gluing your track, or adhering your track to a board or surface is not recommended. The pieces are designed to be moved around and taken apart often. If you choose to glue them you will lose much of the play value of the toys. The pieces are designed to be moved around and taken apart often.

TOMY Brands manufactures new products every year, and if you glue the items down you will not be able to fully - utilize the play system.

The reason the stores have their sets glued down is to prevent theft and keep the display areas tidy.

Why won't my battery-powered train freewheel?

The battery-powered train should freewheel. Put the engine on a hard surface and with the button in the off position, give the train a couple of pushes. When you do this apply some pressure to the train so that the clutch underneath the wheel can release. This should allow the train to freewheel.

How do I change the batteries on the Fog Cars?

To replace the battery on the Fog Car, simply remove the screw at the rear bottom of the base. Lift off the top of the car from the rear.

Then, remove old batteries (disposing of them properly) and replace with two new 1.5V AG13 button cell batteries.

Finally, replace the top of car (front side first) and replace the screw.

I'm missing the ascending track in my new Gold Mine Mountain Set.

The packaging typically places the ascending track up inside of mountain riser. Please turn each mountain riser over and check for the track.

My Harold the Helicopter with retractable pull does not have a magnet.

The Harold the Helicopter with retractable pull does not have a magnet. The retractable pull is made of metal and connects to the magnetized Cargo piece.

Harold is used to carry a cargo piece from place to place on the Island of Sodor. You can use Harold's propeller to raise and lower the retractable pull.

If Harold sees a broken-down train or car, he will fly away and find Harvey or Rocky to help get the train back on track. Harold loves to be useful and is a valuable part of Sir Topham Hatt's Railway System.

Battroborg FAQs

How do I charge the bots?

To charge the Battroborg, connect the pack on the back of the robot into the remote control. Next, switch the button on the remote from the “On” position to the “Charge” position. Every 20 minutes of charge time equals 20 minutes of play time. (VIDEO 1)

Your bot can be ready for battle in 20 minutes. Just follow these charging instructions.

How do I choose different modes?

There are two play modes: Combat mode and Autodrone mode. Combat mode is for battling against another player. Autodrone mode is used for training, and allows for individual play against a pre-set Battroborg combatant.

Your Borg will automatically start in Combat Mode. Learn how to change modes by this video.

  • To enable Autodrone mode, sync the robot with the controller and hold down the GAME MODE button until a game selection sound effect plays.
  • Next, shake the small controller until you hear a bell sound.
  • Hold the GAME MODE button again, and the bell will sound again.
  • Finally, press the Battroborg’s Neurocranial-Optic Visor. After a short pause, it will enter Autodrone mode and begin punching automatically.
  • The Battroborg in Autodrone mode is now set for battle and will punch automatically for 2 minutes. You can use Autodrone mode to practice your moves by battling against the Autodrone, or you can pit two Battroborgs against each other in this mode.

  • To try one of the different battle modes, follow the instructions in this video.

    How do I turn the robot around?

    When you throw a punch with the small controller in your left hand, your Battroborg will throw a left punch and move forward right. When you throw a punch with the large controller in your right hand, your Battroborg will throw a right punch and move forward to the left. (VIDEO 1)

    Your Borg must be agile to leave the Battle Arena victorious. Learn how to control its movements in this video.

    Repeatedly shake the small controller in your left hand lightly, your Battroborg will make a 360 degree turn. (VIDEO 5)

    What happens when my robot falls down?

    When a Battroborg is knocked down during battle, the battle is over and victory is awarded to the opposing Battroborg.

    The other way to defeat your opponent is to make 5 contact hits to your opponent’s facemask. Each hit registers a damage point. (VIDEO 4)

    There are 5 Damage Levels:

  • No Damage - Green
  • 1st Damage Point – Blue
  • 2nd Damage Point – White
  • 3rd Damage Point – Yellow
  • 4th Damage Point – Red

  • My robot and controller won't sync.

    Start by turning of all Battroborg robot and controllers. Then select the Battroborg you want to play with and turn it. Then turn on the controller – you should hear a synching noise. You can also view this video if you are still having trouble. And if all else fails try to new batteries. (VIDEO 1)

    Are the controllers compatible with other robots?

    Yes, each controllers is compatible with each of the Battroborgs. Each controller can also control up to 10 Battroborg robots. (VIDEO 1)

    How long do the batteries last?

    This depends on the level of game play and the amount of time in charging mode.

    How many batteries are needed?

    Each controller requires four (4) AA batteries. The Battroborg robots have their own rechargeable battery, but this battery never needs to be replaced.

    Where does it need to be hit to count a point?

    Damage points are awarded by hitting your opponent's facemask. (VIDEO 2)

    What do the different light colors mean when you're playing?

    The Critical Impact Sensor is equipped with five damage indicators, represented by five different colors. When the color flashes green, no damage to your Battroborg has been recorded.

    There are 5 Damage Levels:

  • 2nd Damage Point – White
  • 3rd Damage Point – Yellow

    Battroborgs are sold in two different styles – the single pack, which features one Battroborg, one training drone and one controller, or the Arena Pack, which contains a 3-in-1 Battle Arena, two Battroborg robots, two controllers and four training drones.

    What technology is used to connect the remote to the bot itself?

    Battroborgs use the 2.4Ghz frequency to connect the robots with the controllers. It is this same frequency that allows for each controller to sync to up to 10 robots, leading to a battle royal where 20 robots battle at the same time.

    What age is appropriate for the robots?

    Battroborgs are fun for the whole family, and are safe for ages 6+.
